• Purpose of Terms of Use:

The Terms of Use define the contractual framework of the relationship between SEMEC, Hopscotch SAS and the User of the site www.midem.com (hereinafter the "Site"). They determine the rules of access to the Site and its conditions of use that any user acknowledges accepting, without reservation by the mere fact of his connection to the Site.

 

SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS reserve the right, at any time, to modify, supplement or delete, and more generally to update, all or part of these conditions of use. SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS will inform each visitor to the Site (the "User") of any changes made to these conditions of use.

 

If the User does not comply with these terms of use and SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS do not take immediate action in this regard, this does not mean that SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS waive their rights to take further action.

The purpose of the Site is to provide information about MID3M +'s activities and news and register for events.

SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS make every effort to provide Users with available and verified information and/or tools but cannot be held responsible for errors, lack of availability of information and/or the presence of viruses on its site.

• Commitment of the User:

The User of the Site acknowledges that he/she has the necessary skills and means to access and use the said website.

 

The User of the Site acknowledges having verified that the computer configuration used does not contain any virus and that it is in perfect working order.

 

The User must not use the Site or its contents for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or to encourage any illegal activity or any other activity that infringes the rights of SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS or third parties.

The User agrees not to take any action that would impose an excessive or unreasonable load on the infrastructure of the Site or the systems or networks of SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS, or any system or network connected to the Site or to SEMEC or Hopscotch SAS.

 

The User agrees not to use any device or software to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any transaction conducted on the Site or the use of the Site by any other person.

Hopscotch SAS reserves the right, at any time, to modify or interrupt, temporarily or permanently, the use of this Site and shall not be held liable for such changes, suspensions or interruptions. Hopscotch SAS also declines all responsibility for malfunctions or interruptions in the use of the Site due to a power failure, a failure of telephone lines and/or the Internet, or any other damaging event beyond its control.

SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS cannot be held responsible for elements beyond its control or for any damage to the User's technical environment, in particular computers, software, network equipment and any other equipment used to use the Site and/or the information contained therein.

 

Transmissions via the Internet are never totally confidential or secure, and it is the responsibility of each User to take all appropriate measures to protect his/her own data and/or software from contamination by any viruses circulating on the Internet.

 

The User agrees to indemnify and hold SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS harmless from any loss or claim resulting from actions initiated by third parties due to, or in connection with, his or her own use of the Site.

 

• No warranty

SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS endeavor to keep this Site up to date. Nevertheless, SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information provided.

 

Consequently, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, SEMEC and Hopscotch SAS disclaim all liability for any indirect damage, whatever the cause, origin, nature or consequences, arising from or in connection with a visit to the Site, including, without limitation, any loss of profits, interruption of business, loss of software or data.

The Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the Courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal shall have sole jurisdiction to hear any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of the Terms of Use, even in the event of multiple defendants or third-party claims, which the User acknowledges by accepting the present terms and conditions.
