Goddard Jeremy

Job TitleMusical Director

Company NameGlobal Festival of Action (Germany)

Artistic Director for the UN SDG Global Festival of Action for the past two years, Jeremy has brought together the international community of changemakers, the UN and the music industry. A professional musician with a passion for sustainable development, Jeremy has lived outside his native England for 20 years and has played and promoted hundreds of shows to international audiences in New York, Rio de Janeiro and Europe. Jeremy has witnessed first hand the challenges of nightlife-driven development in urban areas with particular focus on the East Village in New York where he lived and held residencies for over a decade and formed Electro Pop Tribe “Legion of Many” to champion freedom of expression, partly in reaction to the ‘Cabaret License’ that restricted public dancing. While living in Rio de Janeiro Jeremy held residencies in Lapa, the major hub for live music and organised events for the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Formed by industry experts, Rogo aim to promote and develop music that displays high fidelity, great song craft, good execution and communicates deeply, with feeling and passion. Music should be beautiful and honest, nuanced yet exciting – it’s a powerful force. Songs underpin our emotional narrative; music is everywhere in our daily lives. We believe it is essential to make music that matters.
