Currently VP Latam of The Orchard, where she started in 2003. Owner of the legendary Argentinean record label Epsa Music, specialized in Tango and Folk music, Laura Tesoriero began her career at a very young age running a CD and audiotape manufacturing plant. She later became involved in the content side of the music business and started a music publishing business in 2005.
Always eager for new challenges and with a visionary approach to the industry, Laura has been a key player in the field of online distribution since its very beginning. She started the website Zapmusica, a digital media service that was pioneer in the field, specially in Argentina, where it was unheard of back then. She started at The Orchard exporting Latin music to Europe and US, and then developing relationships with the regional digital services to market independent labels and artists.
Apart from her business ventures, she was a member of the board of CAPIF (the Argentine IFPI) and chaired the Committees of Education and Performance Rights, among others. She has also been the Director and Treasurer of UDIRA (the Argentina Independent Labels Association), organization that she helped found, since 2005. She is part of the Board of the Latin Recording Academy since 2010, was Chair of it since 2013, and is now Chair Emeritus.

Laura Tesoriero has been a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences on topics such as Independent Labels Administration, The Importance of Intellectual Property in Developing Countries, and gender equality in the music business.
