Q: Why did you decide to attend midem 2012?
A: midem is the meeting point for the music industry. At the Innovation Factory, Jamendo is presenting its unique royalty-free music model and its great catalog of original music.


Q: What is your key business objective at midem?
A: Our objective is to show the industry our strong business model based on royalty-free music. The concept represents an evolution in the future of the music business. We also want to showcase the quality of our catalog during Jamendo Night, an evening where four Jamendo artists will perform. Everyone is welcome!

Q: Regarding midem’s new focus on artists, tech, and brands, which sectors are you the most interested in networking with?
A: We find the new focus positive and interesting, as we are dedicated to both artists and business-people. Jamendo is of interest to professionals looking for royalty-free music, to artists who want to promote their music to a international community, and to music aficionados looking for a free music discovery experience.

Q: What do you think is the music industry’s brightest hope for the future?
A: We think it’s Jamendo. ;-)
