[Followed by a "Meet The Speakers" Session]

A dive into the complex but seriously important world of metadata. In 2015, the NMPA estimated that as much as 25% of due royalties are not being paid to publishers or are being distributed incorrectly because the publishing/songwriter metadata is wrong or missing. For the right owners to be paid but also for the end-user to find, access and listen to music, metadata elements associated with music are clearly as important as the creative work itself. In this panel discussion, you'll learn from experts who will help you navigate the metadata maze and give you an expanded view of the metadata world, from the creator to the end-user side.

At the end of the session, we will offer to the audience the opportunity to meet the speakers for 30 minutes, during 1on1 speedmeeting sessions of 5 minutes.
