ROCK, POP, WORLD & ELECTRO CONCERTS
  • Talent Only: MIDEM’s talent-nurturing initiative featured a series of up-and-coming artists in a brand new seafront location, in partnership with Orange and Sonicbids (January 27-30); click here to find out more, including confirmed artists!
  • Special Showcases: MIDEM regularly plays host to numerous showcases highlighting the best music from the world over. Star genres & countries at MIDEM ‘08 include the China-focused Opening Night Party (January 27) and regular favourite, the British at MIDEM night (January 28)
  • Electronic Delights: Returning to Jimmy’z for MIDEM 2008, the Electronic Club sessions welcomed DJ/producers such as Lopazz and Dennis Ferrer (22.30-04.30, January 28 & 29); not forgetting the traditional Pschent Closing Party (January 30)
  • The European Border Breaker Awards: This European Commission-organised event rewards the artists who have achieved top export sales within Europe, with live performances from winners (January 27)
  • The NRJ Music Awards: These glitz-tastic awards welcome the world’s biggest music stars to Cannes the night before MIDEM’s official opening (January 26).
